Sometimes, it may be wise to hold off from sharing your spiritual awakening experience with those around you. At least until you answer these 3 key questions first.

Spiritual awakenings can be messy and sometimes frightening. We change at such a deep level that pretty much everyone around us notices, especially our partners, family, and friends. And when you feel vulnerable, it’s natural to want to share your experiences with those you love.

But because our society is not yet welcoming and ready for spiritual awakenings, when they do happen, there’s not a ton of support out there. And the people we love most may project their fears and beliefs onto us, making the spiritual awakening experience even messier.

Now, eventually, you’ll have to share your spiritual awakening with others. There’s no way around it. The people in your life will have to know in one way or another that you’re experiencing something life-changing.

In the meantime, it may be wise to keep these experiences to yourself and seek out others who are also going through or have gone through similar spiritual awakenings.
