For Your Glory was written in the CVICU of Riley Hospital in Indianapolis IN as my little girl who was only 17 days old at the time was recovering from open heart surgery just the day before. God designed her heart to bring glory to Him and I was there first hand to see it. She had Transposition of the Great Vessels meaning her heart was pumping oxygenated blood back to the lungs and the rest was pumped through her body in a closed system. But God put a huge hole in her heart that allowed for the oxygenated blood to mix with non-oxygenated blood keeping her alive and well. I cannot thank the doctors and nurses enough for what they have done for my little girl. God used them in miraculous ways and 16 days after she was born, she had surgery, and 8 days after that we were at home. God is good. That was the birth of this song. No matter where you are or what you are facing, this time and place is designed for His Glory.
