Day 2: Beppu Jigoku Meguri → Beppu Ropeway → Yufuin Floral Village
Our Kyushu family road trip continues! 🚗🍁
We started the day in Beppu with the famous Jigoku Meguri (Hell Tour)—exploring the colourful hot spring “hells” and learning about their unique geothermal features. After that, we tried some authentic onsen steam-cooked food, straight from the natural hot spring steam!
Next, we rode the Beppu Ropeway up Mount Tsurumi, enjoying the crisp mountain air and stunning views from the top. With peak autumn leaves along the way, the entire drive was incredibly scenic. 🍂✨
Before ending the day, we made a quick dash to Yufuin Floral Village just before it closed at 5pm—wandering through its cute, fairytale-inspired streets.
A beautiful day filled with nature, local flavours, and amazing family moments.
