As a fan of watching studio monitor tests on youtube, I decided to make one about mixcube style speakers.
Quick reminder, it is not a scientific test, however I did my best recording it. I hope you will find some valuable information in the video.
I used Sony PCM D100 as a recorder in XY pattern. Every file has been normalized to the same lufs value.
After recording process, I noticed right Avantone speaker had lower input gain value by 2dB, which explains slight panorama shift. My bad…
Gammas are created by Marcin Szwajcer, polish audio engineer. They are small one way bass reflex design speakers.
