For some reason, My house is quite a nostalgic track for me (I genuinely thought it was a late 2000s release, but surprisingly, 2015); the overall beat and Flo Rida's vocals just gelled for me. I'm not a huge fan of hip-hop, but beats like these that focus on the chords and quality sample production I enjoy. So listening to the instrumental, I felt like the vocals of Roar could fit here well. To me, they really do. Despite Roar being a more pop-focused track, the vocals match the beat and energy quite well. It might be because I have nostalgia for both songs (mostly My house), but I think this mashup is pretty solid.
