Did you know? 35% of the water that people use worldwide comes from aquifers. The groundwater we use today is the result of over hundreds and thousands of years of rainfall infiltration and accumulation. Groundwater refers to that water which has managed to infiltrate the soil layers and remain underground and this body of rock and/or sediment that holds the water in between its pores and crevices in known as an aquifer.
