I felt like Fukunaga revealing it would be better then letting Karnak do so because it would mean more to them. I mean a robot announcing your friend is dead hurts, yes, but you having to announce your friend is dead to all of your other friends hurts a lot more and it's makes Karnak's big reveal a whole lot worse as you're expecting it..
..I love angst 🤭

It's the safest way out of this series because I don't feel like having to come up with a massive explanation, not only can I not be bothered, but I just don't have any ideas soooo... killing them for good was the only option left 😬
Fortunately this is just a random au, so Kageyama, Atsumu, Yamamoto, Kenma and Yamaguchi will return! They'll return as themselves later on! :))
