[ReadMe] So, I asked the camera-person, “All good to go and the camera's ok?” “Yes!”, she said. No matter, you get the gist of this recipe. I'm making a mixed-vegetable creamy casserole bake from odds & sods of veggies that you might have in your fridge or pantry and wondering what to do with –not enough of each to make a single dish from any particular vegetable, but when all combined, this recipe works real good. 👍 Bon appétit
👉 The particular amount/ratio of each vegetable is not important and you could use/add things like leeks, shallots, turnip, swede, or peas, too.
👉 You don't have to add any garlic, but I did.
👉 Oven cooking time is around 2 hours at 180 centigrade foil-covered — check liquid after 1 hour.
👉 You don't have to par-boil the vegetables if you chop/cut them thinly.
👉 For the size of that baking dish, the sauce I used was 20cl of cream, 2 big dollops of crème fraiche, and half a cup of milk. If it goes a bit dry during cooking, add a splash of milk.
