Sandalwood stars Meghana Raj and Chiranjeevi Sarja got engaged on October 22nd in a grand ceremony at the Leela Palace, Bangalore. Rumours were doing the rounds about Chiru and Meghana's engagement for a while now but the stars had not confirmed anything. Post the engagement, a press meet was conducted where they mentioned that both would continue with their acting careers. Meghana's most popular film was Rajahuli with Yash and Chiranjeevi, nephew of veteran actor Arjun Sarja and brother of Dhruva Sarja has starred in many movies including aatagaara, varadhanayaka and kempegowda. Meghana is well established in malayalam film industry. She is the daughter of Kannada actors Sundarraj and Pramila Joshai.
