What is the Mexican lottery?
The Mexican lottery is a game similar to bingo that is played with a deck of cards instead of numbers. The game is composed of individual playing boards with images arranged in different order as well as a Card deck made up of 54 different images of natural and supernatural objects and characters. The purpose of the game is for each player to fill a board (also known as a "card"), or to complete a certain pattern (such as four images in a row, diagonally, or in the corners).

During the game, there is a person solely dedicated to calling the images on the cards, who is often referred to as "the screamer". The first person to complete their table yells “lottery!”, ending the round.
