How to make a Mari Lwyd Horse skull our of eva foam. Mari Lwyd is a Welsh Christmas tradition where crafters decorate a horse skull with ears, ribbons, ornaments, and bells. The character would then go door to door and challenge people to rhyming games. This is a project that I started last year and ran out of time but I wanted to make sure to complete it before the holidays. The skull is made out of HD-Foam so it is extremely light weight perfect to carry around. I even added a pull string to open and close the mouth. Have fun!

People keep asking about pronunciation and I've seen it two ways.

The pronunciation of "Mari Lwyd" is approximately:
Welsh: ma.ri ˈlʊi̯d = Mah-ree Loo-id and English: Mary Lloyd (rhymes with void).
Both are correct. Or get drunk with your horse skull and pronounce it however you want! Ha!!
