Some rainy day workshop ramblings. We got some new crank arms from Miranda to fit to our Urban Arrow Family with the Bosch Cargo Line Gen 4 motor.
The Bosch Gen 4 has an ISIS spindle, which is also found on Bosch Gen 2, and some Bafang, Specialized, Brose and Yamaha motors (to name a few).
The Bosch Gen 3 has a Mini ISIS spindle which I will also cover here. This method is also suitable for square taper spindles as fitted to some other Bafang, Tongsheng and Ananda motors.
Tools required:
A small pick
An 8mm Allen or hex key
A crank puller with removable inner driver - I use the Park Tool CWP-7,
An adjustable wrench
A torque wrench that can hit 60Nm
A suitable 8mm hex key socket
