Beaded Christmas Ball Tutorial 🔮 Festive Decoration for Your Tree!

Make your own stunning beaded Christmas ornament with this detailed tutorial! In this video, I’ll show you step by step how to weave a beaded ball — a beautiful handmade decoration perfect for your Christmas tree, home décor, or as a thoughtful holiday gift.

For this project, I use 8 mm beads, 0.5 mm fishing line, and about 250 cm of line per ornament. You’ll need around 120 beads for one full sphere. The technique is circular bead weaving, where you carefully tighten each row to form a strong, round shape. The finished ball is hollow inside, so it’s light but keeps its structure perfectly.

You can easily adjust the size by choosing different bead diameters — just change the line length accordingly. This method works great with glass, acrylic, or pearl-style beads. Tightening your thread evenly will make the surface smooth and professional-looking.

At the end, tie a satin ribbon or attach a metal loop to hang the ornament. It sparkles beautifully under the Christmas lights and adds a touch of handmade charm to your festive decorations. You can also make several in various colors — gold, silver, white, red, or blue — and create your own DIY ornament collection.
