The Centerror Overdrive / Boost is our Cosmic Terror take on the legendary Klon Centaur

Instead of the original dual anti-parallel drive/boost potentiometer the Centerror splits it up and offers you two separate drive and pure clean boost pots, which takes the already good versatility of the original to the next level.
As usual we added a lot more bass and mid response to the circuit, which makes the unit more stable and suitable for down tuned guitars, basses and heavy riffin’ as well.
It’s one of the most versatile overdrives ever. Having this in front of any other drive pedal makes them sound much warmer and way more present. Just leave it always on.

The secret sauce of the Centerror is its ability to send an audio signal to a tube amp and replicate that sweet natural overdriven sound that normally only happens when you take a tube amp at very high levels to it’s max and get the power tubes AND output transformer cooking. The Centerror creates this character with its unique circuitry allowing the amp to be played at lower volumes.

Because of the various ways you can use the Centerror you could place it early in your signal chain to push other drive pedals and preserve a good stable signal through all your other true bypass pedals. Alternatively, you can place the Klon at the end of your chain as a preamp/boost pedal, right before hitting the amps preamp tubes.
