Testing new style Hill propeller on new 22 Liberator

I just finished this new 2022 Liberator 22 today. I got a new prototype thru-hub 5 blade cleaver prop from Hill Propellers to try out. After several different modifications, we figuered out what works for decent top speed, but mainly getting on plane without the violent cavitation that makes the whole boat shudder. This vibration is what has been breaking propshafts on the new V8 motors and 400R's. They only break when getting on plane. Motors made after November of 2020 are supposed to have the stronger one piece propshaft. The fastest is still the 5 blade Hill or Mercury cleaver. Right now these new thru-hub 5 blade cleavers only come in a 32" pitch. I have 12 ordered. They are $1500 which is considerably less than the over-hub cleaver. I can be contacted at [email protected]
