“TAGA-VALENZUELA, PERO CONYO? Unmasking the Language Stereotype”
In Valenzuela City, many people think that speaking English — or sounding conyo — means someone is rich, sosyal, or trying too hard.
But after hearing real stories and real voices, we learned one thing:
Language does not define your worth.
Accent does not measure your life.
And the way you speak never decides who you are.
This documentary shows the truth behind a stereotype many of us grew up believing. It is about identity, respect, and understanding the different voices of Valenzuela.
🎥 Watch the full documentary and discover what “conyo” really means. You might be surprised by what you learn.
