Lithium-Ion batteries strip & investigate

Following on from the videos I did a few years back with Tool Girl Hana repairing the Makita Lithium-Ion batteries. When I came across these two old motorcycle Lithium-Ion batteries I was curious to see what type of BMS was used & how they were wired up. Not to mention why each battery failed.

So, In this video we do an autopsy on both, inspecting the components & comparint the BMS t others we have come across. I'm not an expert in Lithoum-Ion batteries, in fact, far from it, bit I am interested to see how they are consuructed & the issues they present.
