BADIA FIORENTINA

Mettetevi comodi e prendetevi del tempo per voi, vi porteremo in un luogo pieno di storia, arte, fede e...dove nessuno (o quasi) è mai stato!! La Badia Fiorentina risale alla fine del X°secolo per volere di Willa di Toscana e di suo figlio Ugo. All'interno si trovano opere di Filippo Lippi, del Vasari, di Mino da Fiesole e altri. Nello splendido chiostro degli aranci, realizzato da Bernardo Rossellino a metà '400, si trovano le lunette affrescate con episodi della vita di San Benedetto, realizzati da Giovanni da Consalvo. The Badia Fiorentina dates back to the end of the 10th century at the behest of Willa di Toscana and her son Ugo. Inside there are works by Filippo Lippi, Vasari, Mino da Fiesole and others.
