As is often the case, it's quality over quantity that makes for a good day out. Yesterday's paddle in The Swellies was a reminder of that. Here the tide was 'only' a 9.7m, 'big springs' top out around 10.3 or so around here, but when you match a 9.7 up with a decent low-pressure, then you get good waves that don't wash out so quickly.
It's a great way to start the day.
So come for a white-water ride in The Swellies.
