The History of Star Fox - Part 1 (1982 - 1997) | Rewind Arcade

The first part (of 2) that explores the entire Star Fox series from its roots with the UK-based Argonaut Software to the Super NES' impressive Super FX and from the cancelled sequel to its popular Nintendo 64 entry. The second part will be out shortly after which will cover Rare's strange GameCube platformer title all the way up through the franchise's divisive Wii U outing, along with some cameo appearances and fan games. This is the history of Star Fox.

Corrections:

"V" is pronounced as an "F" in German making Starvox quite literally "Star Fox" in the language, making even more sense why the series was renamed to "Starwing" in Europe. (A big thanks to AtlasRedux for the clarification)
