The intensive 5th match in the Summer Competition last night. I was leading 3-1 and got taken over in the 7th game.
With a handicap start, our team was down by 2 singles - one more lost and we were out. Great work Emma in the Doubles so we were still in the game. You had some outstanding serves and successfully smash those crucial points after opponent semi high return from my long pip!
Needed to say big thanks to Gordon for his fantastic 4th match! He has beaten Felix whose Gordon had never won or came close before, as well as Felix was the highest percentage in the entire grade.
Too bad I lost the 2 singles and sorry to let the team down. It was an awesome night and appreciate for the team supporting each other to get to the last match! Well done guys! :D
Nevertheless needed to say: Matthew, well done. You did so well!!
PS. I gave myself a 65%, barely pass. Missed at least 20 points from the easiest smash in the whole night - and in many points that my legs just didn't move to get to the correct position!! -_-
