Brand New FRNSW City of Sydney Rescue Pumper 001 + CAFS Pumper 18 Responding.

Check out Fire and Rescue NSW’s brand new City of Sydney Rescue Pumper 001, officially received this past Thursday! This 2025 Bell Fire & Rescue–built appliance features a completely redesigned body, marking a major step forward from previous Rescue Pumpers.

These new Rescue Pumpers are some of the first appliances to carry a full battery hydraulic Holmatro Pentheon tool inventory, giving firefighters faster, safer access to cutting-edge rescue tech. The truck also includes updated, more efficient storage layouts, helping crews access their most-used tools quickly and improving on-scene response times.

The NSW Government is investing an additional $17 million over two years to renew the state’s fire-fighting fleet — delivering over 15 new fire trucks and replacing ageing vehicles. This forms part of a broader $98.7 million capital program, also supporting new and upgraded fire stations across NSW.

This truck follows Rescue Pumper 15 and Rescue Pumper 63 which has recently entered service with further new Rescue Pumpers for 62 Bankstown, 57 Wentworthville and 357 Lambton soon to enter service.
