Nikkhil Advani, Sidhant Gupta on Freedom at Midnight, Flop movies, Box office & SRK- Ajay Devgn

Based on the book of the same name by Dominique Lapierre and Larry Collins, the political drama Freedom at Midnight is currently streaming on Sony LIV. In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, director Nikkhil Advani and Sidhant Gupta, who plays the character of Jawaharlal Nehru, answeres questions about the series and other topics. Nikkhil explains why he decided to create this series, while Sidhant shared which scene was the most memorable and challenging for him. Nikhil mentions that through the series, he wanted to transport the audience to that time period. Both Nikhil and Sidhant openly discusses the potential controversies surrounding the series, stating that no project can please everyone. They also clarifies that they don't claim to know everything; they have simply created what is written in the book. Sidhant reveals that there was a time in his life when he struggled with depression and even had suicidal thoughts. Nikkhil reacts to questions about the project's success or failure. When ask about Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn, and John Abraham, Nikhil remarks that, just as he doesn't strictly follow the script, neither do these actors. He adds that they all understand the audience well. Nikhil also shares a story about Irrfan Khan.
