We gave six summer students from NTNU the task: "Develop an IoT-based beehive monitoring system utilizing Nordic development tools."
Without any knowledge of our tools, they developed a working prototype over the summer using our Thingy:91, Thingy:52, nRF5340 DK, nRF Connect SDK, nRF Cloud, the Edge Impulse machine learning toolbox plus external sensors. With a purpose to secure the beehive health and improve beekeeping by measuring data, they delivered with great success.
