Scores of bathers have started flocking to the sea after all 23 Durban beaches have been confirmed safe.
Over the years, some of these beaches were closed for swimming due to water contamination after the April 2022 floods.
The city says this season, holiday-makers are in for a safe, vibrant and memorable festive season on the promenade and in the water.
