4K Zurich City Night Walk - Zurich Central - Niederdorf And Limmatquai. It is Friday after on 6 November 2020 between 10:00 pm and 11:00 p.m. And I take a relaxing walk through the Zurich nightlife in Niederdorf in the old town of Zurich. Niederdorf is the second most famous party mile in Zurich after Langstrasse.

There is not much going on, on the streets of the Niederdorf. The restaurants have to close at 11:00 p.m. to contain the Corona pandemic. For a Friday night it is quiet. But as I said, this is due to the current corona situation.

About the Niederdorf, Zurich

As already mentioned, Niederdorf is known for its cafés, restaurants and bars. And it is one of the most popular nightlife districts. In the summer most bars offer outdoor seating. But the Niederdorf is also a popular place for shopping. The Zurich Niederdorf (popularly known as Dörfli or Niederdörfli) is part of the old town of Zurich. It extends from the Central to the Stüssihofstatt. The Niederdorf is located in the City Hall quarter and thus belongs to district 1 of the city of Zurich. Zurich's Niederdorf is closely connected to the Oberdorf, which lies between Bellevue or Rämistrasse and Niederdorf and which many visitors wrongly attribute to the Niederdorf.
