Hello, Hola & Bonjou PBMA Families! 💙🦈 Mrs. Solórzano is back with this week’s updates, and we’ve got lots of exciting news to share:

🍫 Safety Patrol Fundraiser – $1 chocolate bars to support our trip to Washington, D.C.!
🎨 Dot Day – Show your creativity on Monday, Sept. 15 by wearing your best polka dots!
🌎 International Coastal Cleanup – Join us Sept. 20 at Lantana Beach to help keep our oceans clean.
📅 No School Sept. 23 – Fall Holiday.
🏫 Open House Sept. 25 – 5:30 PM (Elementary) | 6:00 PM (Secondary). Bring a friend and help us grow our Shark family!
🛼 Astro Skate Night – Oct. 16, 6–8 PM. $12 entry, and no school the next day!
🦷 Mobile Dentist Visit – Thank you for keeping our Sharks smiling!

🎓 Elementary Highlights – Hands-on science, ordinal numbers, chromatography for Dot Day, and collaborative math fun.
📚 Secondary Highlights – Civil War projects, NASA straw rocket designs, and more!

PBMA integrates maritime studies and marine science with the Florida Standards through a variety of hands-on experiences designed to interest all types of learners and to facilitate learning across the curriculum. The school is rooted in literacy and we work with students both individually and in small groups to facilitate mastery of the standards.
