4 Women Booked in Gang War Probe; Family Alleges Police Harassment

Fatorda police have booked four women for allegedly obstructing officers from arresting a suspect linked to the Mungul gang war case. SP South Goa Tikam Singh Verma said the women, relatives of the accused, argued with police and even manhandled LPSI Sukhada Prabhudesai.

Meanwhile, the family of accused, Avinash Gujikar, has alleged harassment by the police. They claimed they were called to the Fatorda police station late on August 15, where they were abused and humiliated.
