This talk examines the fundamental role of problems in driving human progress, ranging from personal dilemmas to global issues. It investigates the specific mental processes individuals undergo when seeking solutions to life's challenges and offers insights into how these cognitive patterns can be managed. Furthermore, the talk analyzes the impact of facing difficult obstacles and how they influence the critical decision-making factors required to overcome them. Problems: the base of our everyday life. From dilemmas to global issues, humanity has struggled to progress thanks to them, and these problems won't be going away anytime soon. A question arises, then: How can we as humans solve these problems? In this video, Long (Charlie) N, an 11th-grade student at Saigon South International School, explores the mental processes in which a person goes through as they try to come up with solutions to life's problems and how they can control them. As an observer and consultant to fellow students for over a decade, he chose this topic because it ties closely to what he believes to be the most difficult challenge for any person on earth, and how it can affect a person's decision-making in these situations. Charlie is somewhat of an introvert, but when the time comes, he will try his best to create jokes to keep the room entertained.
