On the opening weekend of the 2026 Transfer Portal window, Penn State landed its QB of the future in former 4-star recruit Alex Manske, an Iowa State transfer. Arriving in Happy Valley with four years of eligibility remaining, Manske should slide into the backup quarterback role behind senior Rocco Becht.
