This video was taken in January 2024. This day marked the end of an era, the final British commercial Saab 340 flights. Loganair retired all Saab 340s after this day.
To celebrate this event and to give enthusiasts a chance to say goodbye to the little Saab, Loganair organized several farewell flights. These were short joyflights that would fly over the Scottish lakes. Unfortunately, the weather was so bad that there was nothing to be seen out of the window. Still, the crew did an excellent job to make this a truly memorable flight for all the passengers.
After our flight we did some plane spotting from the terminal, as this was also the final time to see the Loganair Saab in action. Enjoy!
