First Week of Advent
This morning’s readings—Amos 3:12–4:5, 2 Peter 3:1–10, and Matthew 21:23–32 - remind us what real preparation for Christ looks like.
Amos calls out empty worship and points us back to wholehearted faith. Peter reminds us that God’s “delay” is mercy, giving people time to turn to Him. And Jesus’ parable in Matthew shows that obedience matters more than saying the right words.
