If the engine is running a little too rich on idle it has a tendency to bog or die when leaning forward if the metering chamber is facing the propeller. Easy fix, turn the carb 180° and the problem is gone.

If you want to buy a throttle shaft instead of modifying your own. Buy a shaft for one of these models, WB3A, WB32
These shafts are available for purchase from karting parts suppliers, either individually or as part of a carb assembly or rebuild kit.
A complete carb is only ~$30.00 from Aliexpress. Then you get the shaft and other spare parts for your WB37 carb.
