I tear down and inspect a 1987 F-body 700r4 brought to me by my customer to build up for installation into his 68 Camaro. It appears to be unremarkable at first however as I get into the case, I start to notice oddities that led me to conclude that the unit had been rebuilt in the past (likely on a Friday afternoon at beer-oclock).
Along the way, I cover key points of inspection as well as considerations for reassembly.
