Leaving Cert Biology - Cell Structure & Continuity

This #SaturdaySession with Conor will cover cell structure and division. Throughout the session Conor will give an overview of the structures found in animal and plant cells and their corresponding functions. The mandatory experiments associated with examining animals and plant cells will be detailed. Finally, the cell cycle will be explained making reference to prophase, metaphase, anaphase and telophase and how animal and plant cells differ in how the cells split to produce daughter cells at the end of cell division. As this is a common exam topic to appear, detailed answers will be given to selected exam questions that have come up.
