Ease the Clutch is the powerful story of Gavin Nix, a below-the-knee amputee and former Marine, on a mission to become the second adaptive climber to send a V11 boulder. After losing his leg, Gavin was left searching, grappling with identity, purpose, and pain. Everything changed when he found climbing.

This film offers a raw, personal look at rediscovery and the pursuit of something that feels just out of reach. With almost no one to turn to for beta at this level, Gavin is forced to carve his own path, building a new way forward, one move at a time.
