The Active Travel Series is a collaboration with National Transport Authority and Engineers Ireland Roads and Transportation society. The series will focus on the planning, design and delivery of walking and cycling schemes. In this session, “Basics of Cycle Design”, Michael Aherne and Oliver Dalton from the NTA will discuss cycle network basics, types, scheme objectives, typical layouts, widths and key issues.
