Just my personal tribute to my mining friends and town folks here in Wallace Idaho and the Silver Valley. had the day off and had some old historical mining footage I wanted to mess with. I think this is an old Hank Williams Song re-done by the Cowboy Junkies on "The Trinity" album. This is NOT a very good quality video, as most of this is old mining film footage from the 1920's - 1950's with some of my video and historical photographs put in as well. So many men and women worked so hard to bring the metals out of the ground yet many lost their health and life for their trouble. Also, so many big important towns grew up to support those men and women, but now, with the passge of time and all the Government stupidity, these towns have become weak and frail with poor health and most have simply died.
It is what it is, I like the songand I was bored. This video is just my tribute to so many hard working men and women, and to the towns that the lived in.No matter your position on mining we can all agree that our world and its technolgy would not exist without their hard and honest work. Thank you miners!!!
