Since people cannot read : Cannonballs in crew inventory don't get counted on the UI. I link to a video showing this at the bottom of the description.
Playing on a SP save I used during patches, internet outages (too frequent here), etc, I pulled a 14-use mythic blueprint for medium ship cannons showing 497%.This started a months-long goal of building a ship worth carrying them.
The Ship : made in a Mythic small shipyard.
-Parts : Mixed Masercraft, Legendary, Mythic with a lot of Master/Legend ceilings/walls and alll Mythic planks.
Crew : Leveled-out SoD-Hires ranging in original level from 24 to 41.
Cannons : All made from the same 497 blueprint.

I did cheat. After months of farming (including the bonus week(end)s... I didn't have enough mythos for 2 cannons, so I broke down and used the console to give me enough to make the 8 cannons I used
