A buddy of mine and I were going through some dirt roads, him in his mid-2000s Suzuki DRZ 400 E, and me in my 1988 Honda XRV650 Africa Twin RD03, chasing each for a bit of fun, while slipping and sliding.
When the dirt road finished we reached a bit of asphalt and saw some sport bike riders who seemed to be just riding chill as they went through.
We had knobbies and clearly the worst kind of bikes for chasing down some sports bikes, but we looked at each other and decided to go after them, for the laughs.
You'll notice we stop accelerating at the speed limit, not only for legal reasons, but also because above that speed, the knobbies on my friend's DRZ make the bike float around dangerously. It's in the corners that we have more fun.
Sit back, try to look through the not ideal camera angle, and see if we were able to catch up with them. Place your bets!
