Today, around 75% of people acquire parts of their bodies that they were not born with, and This wouldn't be a problem, except that we injure ourselves earlier in life and live longer - and synthetic implants fail the sooner we get them. These substitutes need to last a lifetime, and for this reason, tissue engineers are working on developing living solutions using nature's oldest building block: the cell.
The new vision changes things by using not pills or devices as therapies but rather our own body, our stem cells as medicines.
The advantages of this type of approach are many. It’s like e Puzzle, it’s part of our body and she will not reject itself; While this piece of “puzzle” will grow with us for the rest of our lives.
