Testing an $88 Vacuum Former

When I wanted to give my friend, my original Gen 1 Roadie Automatic Tuner, but couldn't find the original box, I decided just to make a new one. And to take the packaging one step further, I though why not do some vacuum forming!?

A few months back I found a listing for a $88 vacuum forming machine. The only other vacuum forming machines that I have seen at the price point are the ones mainly sold to dentist office for making molds of teeth, retainers, etc. Which I have one, and you may have seen me use it in a previous video. But this unit was about twice the size.

To my slight disappointment it did not come with a vacuum, they sell it separately for almost the same price as the vacuum former! Thankfully I already own several shop vacs, and you can get one at Lowes or Harbor Fright for haft the cost... unless you really want one in a matching color.
