Hey guys! In lesson 88 of weekend wankshop, uncle ben eller here is gonna show you a cool Phrygian Dominant lick found in the song Belly Dancer off of the Joe Satriani Strange Beautiful Music record. Thats a real cool record, buy the way, listen to the full album sometime.
The phrygian dominant scale is great for use over major or dominant chords, due to the fact that is has all the triad degrees (1 3 5 b7), plus a bunch of other cool tension notes (b9, b6, etc) in there. Try it out sometime!
