[ ITA ] A #Venezia dove tutto è Patrimonio dell’UNESCO, città, laguna e isole comprese, vogare non è solo uno sport è un gesto identitario, una vocazione collettiva, un modo per celebrare l’ambiente. I veneziani imparano a vogare fin da piccoli e frequentano le società remiere come luoghi di aggregazione. In quella di Murano, Patrizio Roversi prende lezioni di voga da Davide Prevedello, un campione che ha partecipato 11 volte alla regata storica, a bordo di una gondola! Ma una gondola veneziana è lunga 11 metri, larga 1 metro e 40, e pesa più di 500 kg… la prima lezione per Patrizio è già restare in equilibrio.

[ ENG ] In #Venice, where everything is a #UNESCO World Heritage Site, including the city, lagoon, and islands, rowing is an identity gesture, a collective vocation, and a way to celebrate the environment. Venetians learn to row at a young age and use rowing clubs as social gathering places. In Murano, Patrizio Roversi takes rowing lessons aboard a gondola from Davide Prevedello, a champion who has competed in the historic regatta 11 times! A Venetian gondola, on the other hand, is 11 meters long, 1.40 meters wide, and weighs more than 500 kg... Patrizio's first lesson is already in keeping his balance.
