New Jersey - Monmouth County - Brielle -
Two Alarms Just around 5:15 AM 99-1 (Brielle) went out for a structure fire at 1012 Quail Lane it was first reported everyone was out of the house and it was some type of back deck fire. (See Google Maps for reference) The first arriving fire officer confirmed the working structure fire that was being fed by open-air Gassiest the Manasquan River. It was a large two-story wood frame structure with heavy fire showing from side C. Crews arrived on the scene and began to stretch hand land into the structure and start to knock down the fire. Due to the size of the house and the advanced fire conditions suppression efforts took longer. Manasquan Tower ladder was going to be positioned in front of the structure and set up its master stream operation. Crews remained working inside and out battling this fire for more than 3 hours. Fire companies from Ocean & Monmouth County responded to the scene. Utilimtily the chimney collapsed (didn't capture) while crews were working inside luckily no major injuries or any were reported. Crews backed out repositioned and continued to hit hot spots of fire. The cause of the fire is unknown.
