The Serbian Skull Tower, also known as Ćele Kula, is a historical monument located in Niš, Serbia. It was built by the Ottomans in 1809 as a gruesome reminder of their victory over Serbian rebels in the First Serbian Uprising. During the battle, the Ottoman forces decapitated the bodies of dead Serbian soldiers and constructed the tower using the skulls of these fallen warriors.
