Lincoln and I had just come off a brief USCSS trial nearby where he placed 2nd and 3rd. So, having had only 2 runs, I decided to set one more problem for him, at Robert O. Smith Memorial Park in Alden, NY on a chilly day.
About 30 degrees out and slightly windy.
We’d never been here before so my goal was just to stay quiet and observe, and not terribly mishandle the leash.
He did great! Under 2 min for the whole search, including a bit of time distracted by a bird in the field.
