Americans tend to divide the Christian religion into two camps: Protestant and Catholic. But there's a third branch called "Eastern Orthodox" that consists of 260 million members worldwide. Many evangelicals have converted to Eastern Orthodoxy, including "the Bible Answer Man," Hank Hanegraaf. CS Lewis found the church intriguing. Yet many evangelicals know hardly anything about it. And the mystery makes us skeptical.

A few months ago, I read a book by Frederica Mathewes-Greene about Eastern Orthodoxy. It was beautiful. Her journey took her from Catholicism to Mainline Protestantism to Charismatic to Eastern Orthodox, where she has found her home. I don't think we should be skeptical of our differences; we should be inspired by them. I think you'll be inspired by her. We're interviewing her tonight on Remnant Radio, 8:30pm Live.
