Beavers - the wildlife in Canada is incredible. North American travel in our self built camper van.

Canada's wildlife is incredible. After leaving Prince Edward Island, we're now beginning to explore New Brunswick. This week, we visit Hopewell Rocks, another place where the huge Bay of Fundy tidal range can be seen up close and personal. Not so up close when we were there, but it's still spectacular.

We then spent a night at a sugar farm and learned all about the fascinating process of making maple syrup.

Our brakes were giving an intermittent fault light on the dashboard so we had to visit a garage but before that we camped at a nature park just outside Moncton. There we had our first experience of beavers, seeing what they can do to trees and their amazing dam. We were so excited to learn all this and to see so much nature.

We're Sarah and Ben, are a couple from the UK that have been travelling for many years. In 2020, when the world went crazy, we bought an empty Mercedes Sprinter van and started converting it into a fabulous home on wheels. Now, we have toured all round Europe, from the southern tip of Portugal, the easternmost shores of Bulgaria and the northernmost tip of Norway, over 300 miles into the Arctic.

To explore even more of this fabulous world, we have shipped our van over to Canada and we are embarking on an epic adventure that may eventually end in Ushuaia, the most southerly place it is possible to drive to. If we last that long.
