Scorched Contract is driving me crazy. I tried to kill Artorias without Red Tearstone Ring and it took me 60 tries just to understand that it's bs. The problem is that without the ring, it will not be possible to stop his transformation with katana. Since it's Scorched Contract, he has increased everything (speed, health, timings, damage). In phase 2 he has several attacks that cannot be dodged at a certain distance. If you want to try it (obviously without halberds or spears), I'm rooting for you.
